Hello everybody!

This one has been on the making for quite some time. It was supposed to be a takedown but I couldn't nail the construction. That's when I decided to turn it into a good normal knife instead of a mediocre takedown.

Steel: 1095
Handle: mild steel guard, stainless steel spacer and african blackwood handle.

Dimensions:
Overall length: 43.5 cm -17.12''
Blade length: 29.2 cm - 11.49''
Blade width: 3.8 cm - 1.49''
Blade thickness: 6 mm - 0.236''
Handle length: 12.5 cm - 4.92''

Flat grind with a convex edge. The clip is sharp. My pictures are quite awful, the video in HD is a better representation.

It comes with a black buffalo leather sheath with some snakeskin inlay.

How do you sharpen it, now it's not a takedown?

On my previous c-guard fighters I didn't sharpen the small portion of the knife.
It's possible to sharpen it with a small stone but not really necessary since it will not be used.
On this particular one, I cheated a bit. I sharpened the blade prior the final assembly.

Truly excellent work on the Hamon, grind/ plunges, blade shape, handle contours, and choice of materials......really nice.
But for me, every minute I wasn't being slapped with kidskin glove and challenged to duel, I be thinking about a straight guard
