11" dagger with a coffin handle

OUTSTANDING for sure. It looks great in the first pictures, but seeing the close up of the fuller, fluting and spacer gives a much better look at how nice it is!

Hay Mike,

I love it a lot! All the lines are so crisp and clean. Your knives make me think of an early spring morning with a heavy dew that just fell on the new, green grass. Clean, crisp, sharp elegant...

Great work!!!

Jeez, Mike. That thing looks sinister enough to be outlawed in 33 states, but holy mother of Delilah--what a beauty! :D

Holy cow!!! Very nice, Mike. Damn, you make me want to become a collector... (kinda need money to do that.)
-M

The crowd waiting outside is excited. The main event is about to begin and the anticipation is humming. There are limos, taxis, luxury cars and performance vehicles. Everything is represented.

Just then a mint '32 Ford Hot Rod is heard coming down the street; staying in first gear the engine is revving just a tad high, but it's a great sound. The crowd steps back, and all eyes follow as it swings into the drop-off area and the driver shuts it down.

The door swings open and a smartly-dressed gentleman emerges, tossing his keys to the attendant as he opens the passenger door for his stunning date.

THAT'S what we have here. :)

Coop

Coop, I think that's got to be the best way I've ever seen of saying "nice knife":). Thanks for all the kind words. I'm headed out the door to start my 8 hour drive to Eugene which just got longer due to the 4" of snow we got last night.:barf:

Very very very impressive Mike. Absolutly perfect execution. Congratuletions,
Eduardo Berardo

Very nice Mike! I like the X's and O's in the fuller in the blade. perhaps you should call this one "hugs and kisses"

Brian

Wow... I'm really starting to hate him!!! ;) :D

Simply outstanding--- And more proof of my theory as to just how good he already is and how far this guy can go.

Amazing piece Mike!!!

Mike's stopping in for a visit after he's done at the OKCA show. I am really, REALLY hoping that some of what he's got rubs off on me (okay, so that could totally be taken wrong but you know what I mean!) LOL

Holy crap Mike, you make me sick:barf:. I hate you!:D That may be the nicest knife I've ever seen, ever! I quit!:grumpy:

Geez that's some nice. So incredibly clean and controlled. Just beautiful.

The file work, the proud scales, the pins and the perfect damascus....

Wow Mike, what else can I say. Beautiful work and execution. Very elegant and purposeful at the same time. Great big thumbs up from Oklahoma.

Ah damn, Mike. I am just going to have to quit trying to make knives now. I believe you have just forged the perfect knife. I used to entertain the idea that no such thing existed yet and maybe I could somehow work towards finding it in the future, but now I see you have been given "the touch!" Did you have St. Clement himself bless your hammer and anvil?!

Can't wait to make the pilgrimage up to your place for the NorCal hammer-in you were talking about. I expect to be baptised in holy quench oil! Abslutely pristine example of the pinnacle achievement in being a bladesmith, and I know your work only gets better.

I do believe the bar has been raised my friends.

Your fan, -Xander

Well I got to put finger prints all over this one today and Mike the pictures do not do it justice. That is one nice piece of work.

Was great meeting you at the show and hope to make your hammerin when you get it set up. Hope you have a good show.
