110/112LT Utility knife?

I like the Aluminum but prefer the clank of the brass or nickel vs the clink of aluminum. Its so light the weight weirds me out. My brain looks at it like any other 110, but when I pick it up it feels out of place.

That's been my hesitation too. But I've never held one either so.....

I know my brass/phenolic 119 feels "out of place" handle heavy.
We'll find out.

Picking up an aluminum 110 is like picking up a gallon of milk you thought was full but in reality is empty.

It took me 6 months of carrying mine to move from "it feels weird" to "I like this better by a long stretch".

I made a shot put out of aluminum in shop class back in high school. I used a 10lb shot for the casting as the 12lb steel shot was smaller than the iron 12 pounder. I would go through the motions warming up before the event (grunts groans) then toss the thing out of the ring for a world record.
Sorry about being off topic:eek::eek: but i thought it was related to the brass vs aluminum comparison. :D My bad.

I like em both. brass/nickel silver and the aluminum. also like the plastics. I enjoy the heavy as well as the light. doesnt bother me either way, just different.

Recently got the alum 110 from C&C. It is a really good looking knife and light. I can carry it wearing sweats and not notice the weight. With the weight and the pocket clip it is a real winner for me and I have a lot of 110's in all types.

least ya got bucks in your box store. round me nada other than walmarts.
You do have bass pro and academy sports over there. The local ace here has a few, but you just dont see them like i would expect.
