110 50 th Anniversary Model

Website says "silkscreened". Does that mean paint?

Yes, silk screened is simular to pad print, it's painted on, silk screening is better and faster to do multiple colors. So, it will buff off or wipe off with chemicals just like the Cabela's AG logo. There are a few old threads on how folks here removed the AG logo's.

I did get a couple of the ones the op posted about in this thread and I really like them!!

Here is the normal run from Buck for the 50th Anniversary 110 that should be available everywhere in 2014. According to Buck, they are going into production this week.

I really like the tang stamp!!

Interesting thing about Buck and dates....they can never make up their mind. The SMKW 50th is marked 1963....the shield on this knife dated 1964. It's a good looking knife, I hope they can resist electro etched junk on the blade.

SMKW states in their literature that 1963 was when the okay was given to produce the 110. They actually hit the market in Sept 1964.

That was one of the reasons I had to buy the SMKW knife…because all the rest will have 2014 as the anniversary.
