 They say that half of being smart is knowing what you are dumb about...so I must be pretty smart.
That statement manifests itself by the following:

Anyone know why this BCS 110FG NS Walnut BG-42 does not have the center (spring) rivet exposed and the other rivets are there?

If ya look at a "stock" unit you will see what I mean...count the dots.
Obviously, a slow night for me.

Thanks!

My guess is it came from the custom shoppe and was either ordered special that way or when they built the knife it was done accidentally. Remember. This is just a GUESS !

That one yours Goose?

Obviously out of the Custom Shop... a Special order like Dan said??????

Only one I have seen set up like that ... I thinks I like it...

Thanks Dan and Larry...
Yep, it's mine. "Designer's Choice" stamp...which is kine a drag since ya can't tell the year. Really love that knife. Got it from ZZ and have never cut a thing with it.
Just curious about the pins, or I should say, lack of one.

Goose, the pin is not missing...just hidden. That is the rocker pin and could not be left out and have the spring function correctly. Trax can 'splian it more better than I, they can hide them(just shorten, I think), but they still have to be there. Preston

Opps...just a little late.

Thanks EE and Mr. P.,
yeah, I know it's under the scale. I was just wonderin' why just one and not all...exposed or not exposed.
Just one of those things I wonder about. Like why the sky is blue? Why am I not Bill Gates?

Special order out of the Custom shop...nickle silver bolsters,BG42 blade, walnut scales.....if you don't want it send it my way so you don't have a "freak "knife.

...Hey gooser...Send it off to me to take a look at that "freakie" thingie...I'll be sure to send directly to TripleE from here...I sure hope it don't get "lost" in the mail...cough, cough, cough...:D :D :D

You got that from Jake!!!!!  Rats,,,guess I just didn't see it in any of his pics...:o

Nice knives there goose,

Interesting that the three rivets they left showing are stainless and not brass. Nice pic of that tin can buck also.

Goose how do you get such sharp resolution in your pics? what camera are you using?

I tried to take some knife photos with my wife's digital and I get glare and fuzzy/blurry images :( . Any suggestion from the peanut gallery?

Thanks
