110 BCS Rivets/Pins

Buckaholic, do you know if Buck is going to
come out with a tin for Christmasthis year?
Hawkeye:rolleyes:

ALL OF MY PETES CUSTOMS have the rocker rivit hidden,is nthis the way all customs came?

No, but I wish they did! :( I have a four dot 110 with stag scales that only shows two brass pins and no rocker pin. I'd like to see more of that. I normally opt for no pins since that is the oly option over the regular pin configuration.

And on the other hand, I have a 110 with a brass rocker pin and no rivet pins. Lots of variations....

Goose how do you get such sharp resolution in your pics? what camera are you using?

I tried to take some knife photos with my wife's digital and I get glare and fuzzy/blurry images :( . Any suggestion from the peanut gallery?

Look for a macro setting on your camera.

I only have one custom 110 w/rivits and I never noticed it only has THREE !!

Like they say: "You learn something everyday". Thanks for the brain teaser....LOL

I just love learning these little tidbits about my hobby and this is probably the best place to learn.

Here's the one that I have with only two rivets.

I just got in 2 Buck 110's with original factory handles and NO pins. I have never seen a regular production 110 with no pins in the handles. It is a 1997 issue. Anyone have one of these? Any info would be appreciated. The guy I got them from wants me to custom rehandle them but I did have to trade him out of one to add to my collection! :)

You talking about no pins at all or no scale pins but with a rocker pin...

I think it is NavahoDoris on ebay that has ones with no pins at all pretty frequently...

And there have been very recent pics posted here in the Buck forum of three different 3rd versions with brass rocker pins and no rivet pins. They are referenced in Blade Guide as rare.

I usually have a Bud Light about 10 minutes before to get rid of the shakes. Then I use a Canon PowerShot Si200 3.2mega pixel on SuperFine, Night Shot, NO Flash but with good room lighting, and during the day.
