110 blade steel?

What steel is used on the 1994 110 blades marked \? I have one in for a spa and I don't want them to downgrade the blade if it is one of the better old steel type.

Better is pretty subjective as Buck's 420HC is pretty darn good but to answer your question, Buck changed from 425M to 420HC in 1992 so you 110 has the same steel that they are using today.
