But placed by who??? Cabelas, SMKW, and the other Big Boys??? Or the peons like us??? :mad:

What about the Custom Shoppe??? Do they have a separate parts bin they dip into??? Separate from the Warranty Dept/Buck [upgrade] Store??? Or do they all walk down to the Parts Counter and get told "No BG-42!"... :jerkit:

I can't recall any BG42 options offered by the catalog crowd (the late Master Series being the exception) so my guess is they are referring to orders placed through the custom shop only. This is a big disapointment to me, since I had 2 560's to send in and held off until Joe returned from the elk hunt and got back up to speed.:grumpy: I'd rather have BG42 than S30V, and judging from lots of posts from folks here who had customs made it was a pretty dang popular option to drop. Can only wonder why... I'd guess people chose BG42 10 to 1 over ATS-34.
 
Dadgummit. I waited too long. Meant to send in a Buck user months ago and get a BG-42 upgrade.

+1 on that, Guyon. Does this mean that sometime soon S30V will be offered for blade upgrades? Hopefully with that flaming Bos logo?

Bg42 cant be THAT much better than S30V (never used BG42), does anybody have a picture of their drop point blade, because i might have to get in ATS 34 if it isn't as nice as the clip point.

the bottom one is the club droppoint in s30v
the one on top i posted a picture of roughtly 3 to 4 mos before the anouncement of the club knife... no it is not a normal buck issue.:D

and i carryed a buck 110 at each and every one
in fact at one of them they keep it as comtamanted so it will be in a holding site for 5 tho years with my name on it...

i did not have the cash to get the 112... wife was realy bitchy on the110
that showed on the card and salt and
hot pepper dont hide the metalic tast.
cides rember i is retired and on fixed income.

Great Googley Moogley! I've been away from here for too long. Now I need to score another cheap 110 so I can send it in for a drop point S30V blade!

You might also consider getting a Cabela's Alaskan Guide model 110, either with the standard wood or stag scales. It comes with a CPM S30V blade.
