110 BPS field test

Hawkeye5 and Rat Pack:

Congratulations on the recent kills. I've been thinking about the CPM 154 110, but just haven't gotten around to getting one. I do have the AG and it came about as sharp as possible.

Good luck during the remainder of the hunting season. I'm hoping to take one more before the season ends.

:)

Hey Jeff...
Cool report.

How has the Ti coating on the blade held up for you?
Mine is oakie doke, but I am certain your's has seen some sirus cutting.

Thanks!
Goose .. The coating is holding up great.Even after cleaning deer and turkey and chopping a few cedar limbs. The cutting edge was like Larry said.It cuts
but it did not cut through the neck hair and hide like the other Bucks I have used. But it cuts up the meat great. But as far as the coating I just wipped it off and it was good to go.

Thanks Plowboy .I can't say one way or the other about the AG becouse I don't have one yet.But from all the storys I have heard here the AG is a bit sharper than the CMp 154.But but I can't prove it. But don't let that keep you from buying it.Some here like the CMP 154 better. So go with your heart.
Good luck ,and happy hunting.I hope you get the Big one.

Well the regular deer season ended quietly for me this past weekend with no additional "testing" of my 110BP. I hope to get out with my flintlock after Christmas but that usually ends up being more of an exercise in frustration than hunting :D

I carried my 110BP primarily but carried my 154 folding Aplha Hunter one or two days.

Just an observation between carrying the 110 vs. folding Alpha (both with the factory leather sheaths): the Alpha carries closer to the hip and was less prone ot catch on coats, rifle sling, etc compared to the 110.
