That is a great looking knife! I like that much better than Dymondwood. I wonder if they offer it with polished G10? I have a Benchmade with polished G10 that is a beautiful knife. This would be gorgeous like that.
I hope it's OK to ask this question here. I'm looking more at a high end 110 now that I know I can handle the weight. You folks that have both the custom shop 110 and the Cabela's Alaskan Guide 110 which one do you prefer if you do prefer one over the other?
Peter, I have a number of Custom Shoppe 110's, as well as a couple of earlier Bass Pro 110's and an Alaska Guide 110. They are all fine knives, but that bullet proof coating on the BP and AG 110's is pretty hard to resist. I usually alternate among the three styles and I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. If you want the coating go for the AG 110, if not, go custom. Either way, you can't loose.
That G10 looks pretty different from the G10 on my Lochsa though. Not good I consider the G10 on the Lochsa to be of some of the highest quality G10 Ive ever seen. The custom shop G10 looks like it has been smoothed over a good bit. My Lochsa G10 is not. Was going to get a fingergrooved Custom Shop 110 G10 but not if the G10 has been smoothed out/over. I may hate my Lochsa but I love its G10. Example:
