110 Drop Point?

From what I gather from all this is that the 110 was never produced as a standard production item as a drop point. Is that correct? All of them are specials or built by someone else using parts from other knives.

ok i will elaborate some

the above are club knives
of note the one with out FG from what i understand me and
one other sent back club knives with cracked oe bad stag
the blades seem to have been put on CS frames with
out the FG and sent back only two i know of

...Dave...This may be that "second" BCCI Club knife you were talking about without Finger Grooves......:D

click thumb...

Darryls,Thats a good looking drop point.DM

...Yep it is Dave. I had sent back the first one I received from Buck as the bark on the stag was almost completely gone from the hand shaping of the scales. This is the "replacement" BCCI Fundraiser Knife I got back...It's apparently 1 of 2 made by Buck without the finger grooves...:)

I would show you a pic Flatlander, but have'nt figured out how yet.I will sometime though. Also,no,it will not be my last Buck c.s.knife,I absolutely love my new 110!The fit and finish of this knife is flawless. The black Asian water buff.scales are beautiful,It is my first knife in S30V.This 110 will be my edc for a long time. The first knife I carried on a regular basis was a 110,back in the late 70s.kind of like discovering your first love all over again.

334Dave,

Thank you very much for recommending the 486+110=410 drop point idea.

I'll send Leroy an e-mail and ask for a quote.
(The thumbstud would be an interested addition, too.)

Best regards,
Mike

they are nice looking
only thing is the blade does NOT
have BUCK on the tang!!
jest usa and 486

trax the 486 is a nice handling knife...you should do one:thumbup:;)

334dave - I have a set of mammoth tooth scale blanks that I was planning on putting on my last 426 blade 110...but maybe I'll try the 486 instead (and save that 426DP!)...

Is the 486 still in production??? Or do I need to stalk eBay for one???
