That gut shot makes it look like the spring is inserted into a hole in the Rocker? Not the spring holder/rear spacer? Can you tell which piece the spring is "stuck" in?
Assuming it is in a slot in the spring holder, and assuming you can see the rear bolster rivets on both sides, I would say the knife is a Third Version, Variation 6.
That inlay almost looks iridescent.

Can't see the rivets on the rear bolser. Maybe after it tarnishes a bit more.
As for the spring, it looks like it's in the rear spacer.
I will just tell peeps that it's "old".

To paraphrase a quote from Joe (since I can't find it)..."Rub the bolster briskly on your jeans, then breath on it...the rivets will show up in a second or three"...
