Photos 110 for 1/10

A brave soul you are!! 👍❄️🥶👍
John 😁
Ha! Not really. Its with a bunch of scouts and cabins. Our scout troop has done cold weather training in the past, but this year the scouts opted for something different. I think there will be some Webelos/AOL Scouts joining us, and the older scouts didn't want to scare them off. A bunch of them are planning on practicing fire starting in wet conditions, and teaching the younger scouts some winter safety. I'm sure they will be some snowballs thrown. For the most part, though, it'll be a pretty tame weekend.

6 different versions of 2-dot

Thanks for posting this. I've seen a similar picture before (but not this exact one), and somewhere here on BF there was a discussion about possibly being six versions of the two-dot rather than five. The name of George Stenzel was mentioned. I bought my 110 in 1974 or 1975 as best I can recall. It has two small pins, and based on the shape of the front bolster and the kick and the tang I can only conclude that it is one of the first version two-dots.

It was a picture of George Stinzels who was a respected authority on 110s' and possibly a post of Bert Lindsay. I saw that and was inspired to find the other versions.
