110 quality diminished?

I used 1000, 1500 & 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Then used a polishing wheel with the red compound on a dremel. Finished with another clean wheel and noxon polish.

I thought about it but then just wanted to get it done lol. The grooves looked like a hacksaw skipped across where your finger pushes into for the rear of the lock. It's much more tolerable now. Knowing I can get it back to factory finish, if the small amount that remains bothers me, I'll fix it. But it passes my standards.
