Thanks John, it's a S30V Satin finish BOS Blade... All that is Laser Etch on the Blade... I guess they don't have anymore stamped ones... ... But I still like it...

If you'll search the archives Armand, (I'll look also) you will find a fairly recent thread where either Joe or CJ (?) explained that they were getting away from "stamping" both sides of a blade. It has nothing to do with cost, it had to do with the premium steel not reacting well to being stamped on both sides and having the potential for cracks or fractures to occur in that area.

Of course.

But, there are problems with that story.

One problem is somebody might ask why they couldn't stamp the blades like they did the BG-42 blades.

Can't blame anybody for thinking they took the cheapest and most convenient route.

Like most cheap routes, this one detracts from the knife.

And that's a slippery slope because it may increase profit temporarily, but some loyal customers go elsewhere.

Thanks Fritz, it was a nice present for sure... I was really Surprise that they got me a Custom Buck Knife... I had NO idea that I was getting it... What a great Christmas I had... I sure hope everyone else had a great Christmas too...
