I agree, and I was mostly on robotboy's side until he broke out the jerk-it.

Then, I went back and tried to read page 1 objectively. What I saw is that no one pointed a finger at robotboy. Folks were making suggestions to the original poster, and robotboy came up with this result. This "guilt" is of his own making.

of course i disagree with you on everything about this, except buck being a great company.

i've been moving forward since that day....but i do have time to revisit and put my two cents back in, just like you.

In point of fact, the turning point was when Robotboy made an attempt at an apology and that was met with a "Doesn't matter," from Trax.

Maybe Trax didn't mean any offense......but it sounded dismissive.

This was one of those arguments where most everybody was right most of the time (and good discussion of the Buck warranty) but I just don't see that it's right to dump blame on the new guy or gang up on him.

As for that dumb masturbation icon......why the hell don't somebody in charge just remove it?

It's offensive just being there.

And that's ALL I have to say on the matter.

I hate a pile-on as much as the next guy. My point was that robotboy seemed to feel he was getting the pile-on when, in fact, there's no indication that people were even responding to his first post in the thread. No one quoted him. People seemed to be giving advice to the original poster.

That's why the Quote button is there. If you're responding directly to someone's post, it makes sense to use it. It just avoids misunderstandings.
