110 slim heritage elite silver bolster

I just pre ordered this knife. This will be the most I have ever paid for a knife. I have three other 110s
I have one of the Stealth run slim 110's, I would be happy with any of the versions in 420 not magnacut which drives the price up, just my opinion. I am dying to see how the slim scales stand up.

Let us know how you like it and if you put it to work….limited work if that expensive, but maybe cut up fruit and a meal. 😀

I noticed that the bolsters, and the edges of the scales on these aren't as rounded, as the standard 112s & 110s, so Buck may have been trying to avoid the edges being too thin, and chipping. My guess is that the scales should hold up fine. I have several traditional folders with much thinner wood scales, and they've survived years of use.

Considering that Buck named these “Heritage” I have to wonder if the non rounded bolsters and scales are a tribute to the original designs.

I think the ebony scales on the heritage slim and the 55 are pretty similar in thickness.

My 55 has seen very minimal use or pocket carry.

It's wood, so I get it.
I do believe that ebony is very stable and it's unlikely there will be problems......but not impossible.
