110 Slimline?

Thanks guys, this one was fun to do...
JB, I don't have a scale in that range, but will try to post more shots in the SPS. I'll try to get a weight on it before then.
The blade etch is Buck Pro-Line ;)

That is a beautiful knife.
 
Wow. That is simply stunning. The classic profile of a 110 in a slimmer sleeker package. It looks so elegant.
 
How does the knife feel in hand? It looks like it would be less hand-filling, but the contours look like they would make for a really comfortable and great feeling grip.
 
It's a comfortable and secure grip because of the finger grooves, but a tad on the thinish side for my large meat hooks. Without the finger grooves it would be a no go for me. A 112 without grooves has the added safety of the hooked bolster that the 110 doesn't offer. Just keeping it honest...I actually prefer the 112 with this treatment over the 110. Overall it is more pocket friendly, and the weight is about 1 oz less...
 
sitflyer, That is some beautiful work there. I like the fact that it is so much thinner, but that the liners still look like they are the same thickness. Easier carry without sacrificing strength...when's Buck going to start making it?
 
That osage looks GREAT SIT. It would probably carry well with a nice custom belt sheath.

That is a great idea! It's OK in pocket, but the length is just a tad excessive for my tastes. A nicely tooled sheath would be a nice touch.

Some hobbyists and custom makers could easily make you a "slim line" 112.

The Buck 500 is my favorite production Buck due to the drop point, but I vastly prefer the feel of the Buck 112.

I wish Buck would do a production thin line 112.
