110 stag scales on steroids

Bid on it. If you win, you can cut the stag in half and probably have enough left to handle another knife.

Mike they are huge!!!

I couldn't see it being very comfortable. They look like they are off anothher knife & couldn't be bothered scaling them down to make it symetrical.
Cheers
Mitch

I've got a 112 that Tom Stratton did with fat stag like that.

Scott, Please tell how the knife handles? do the fat scales inhibit good handling?

Mike,
I honestly have never carried this one. It is a bit overkill with the stag but I do like fat handles on my knives. The biggest problem is fitting it in a sheath. I have this one just for lookin' at.:D I've got so many 112's and 110's I can just keep this one as a collectable. If I wanted one to carry, I would rather it have a little thinner stag.

  ...actually...It kine looks like it may be twins or one o' those 110/112 combo "babies"...LMAO...:D :D :p

That is ridiculously too big! My custom smabar stag 110 never looked that big, not by a long shot!! Thicker than a quarter? Too much overkill. you woudl need an "extra-wide" sheathf or this one!

Yeah, on second thought, that does look ridiculous Razorback. Let me know if you ever wanna sell it. :)

Good Lord.
That's disgusting
Another " wanna~be"

Well, we actually got two fat Sambar Stag knives here...the eBay 110, and razorbacks 112...I just think that the knifesmith who made either of them could have sliced those scales in half and used the outer section [with the bark] and made one knife, then used the inner section [the 'second cut'] and made another knife, but a smooth sanded scaled knife...smooth like a baby's butt...which reminds me: what happened to Goose??? I thought he'd be jumping all over the threads for the last couple days...

 ...Trax...I think he's polishing his SPAM collection that I reminded him of...LOL...:D :D

I don't disagree with you guys about the stag. I asked for thick scales but didn't expect them to be this thick. It is impossible to put in a sheath. It's a keepsake for me because Tom and I have become good friends.

Trax, I think you could get rich churning stuff like that out!!!

Marv, I was born "Rich"!!!...and that's the only "rich" I'll ever be... :(

Scale replacement requires total disassembly [for me anyway] which pretty much eats up any monetary gain with a corresponding loss of worktime... :(
