110 with BG-42

I know this has probably came up before. Has Buck every made a 110 with a BG-42 Blade?

the master series and master series overruns had BG 42 steel.I don't know of any others but there could be .I have two buck customs with BG 42 steel.buffalo and red bone

You can order one from the Custom Shop with a BG-42 blade, or you can send in a stock 110 and for $35.00 they will install a BG-42 blade.

If ya send them a 110 to upgrade to BG-42, do you get your old blade back?

I didn't, but I never thought to ask, the 110 I sent in was bought at a knife show for 15.00 with a tip already broke off.

As a rule, I don't think Buck ever sells or releases Buck knife "parts" to the public, but I don't know if that would include an original blade????

Interesting question.

buck generly does not send back a blade at all!!
they have been known to on a few rare occasions...
i know of one for sure and heard of another.
one was a old 186 and the other had a inscription.
other wise NO blade returns is what i understand.
