On Instagram, they are showing the 112 Ranger TRX. But the blade is stamped 1112. I told them I wanted that one. What is up with that?

Haha was that you that commented on the photo 3 times? I agree with all of them!
The first "1" looks off from the other two in terms of spacing. Not sure if that means it was photo shopped or if the laser machine was programmed wrong and it is a legitimate error.

Maybe they made 1000 of those blades and didn't notice it.

Judging by the width of the celery stalk, I'm going to speculate that it's a new model the size of the 110 but with the handle profile of a 112. Hence the new model number.
Or I'm just bored and felt like a new rumor ahead of the BOTM release would put some blood in the water.

Dang, as we all suspected, it was just an editing error. I don't know why it had to be edited there. Perhaps there was an issue with the tang stamp on the original.
