112 auto conversion

Bladehq should be ashamed for listing a fake for sale. Wonder if they could verify and show proof of who did the conversion?

Not a factory conversion looks like.

yes Sir. they list it as a not factory conversion.

i dont know its fake just looks a whole lot like the ops that we know is a fake. bladehq might have got duped also or maybe there is a real conversion and this is it.....but the odds seem real low.

We just discovered that these were fake. They came into the shop yesterday from a distributor and we put them up on the website. We have pulled the item from our store and no knives left our shop to customers. Thank you to this thread for helping us catch this.

Mr Hubbard the news a 112 auto is coming is fantastic! I've been tempted many times to buy or trade for a aftermarket version and now that a factory 112 is in the pipeline ..As far as I know no one has pulled off the factory handle on the auto and make a custom but I'm sure some brave soul will soon!

Hi Clint: I actually have two aftermarket 112 autos that have been customized; one by David Yellowhorse and one by LR.

I was referring to the new auto 110 ..Has anyone customised one of those yet? When I was reading the thread for it Mr Hubbard mentioned one of the rivets had a purpose other than holding the scales on ..I figured by now there would be many custom 110 factory autos since the 110 is perhaps the most customised Buck model done .

Actually, if you find yourself on the BCCI Facebook page, there’s someone there who has shown pictures of 5 or 6 that have been modified with new handles.

I have one that’s getting elk handles soon as I find time to get back in the shop. Maybe next week... But I have a couple of other knives to wrap up first.
