I have been eyeballing the Yellowhorse 119's lately as well. The version Preston has and David did a small run of another handle version that was equally as nice. Too many great knives to buy them all when they pop up so often.
It's funny that even though I chase odd 112's I have never give the tang stamp much thought..except when I try to date one. Reblades and employee 112's from the early 70's sometimes are the reason for a odd one. There are few hard and fast rules in the Buck collecting world..especially in pre 80's folders.
I feel ya..But what's worse for me is actually finding something REALLY special and it's priced really, really special. Rare Bucks are usually priced accordingly.
