112 Shedua wood? Pictures.

I wanted to update - it only took 9 years but I finally sent that Shedua in to Buck and they returned it a few weeks later in beautiful condition - I am having trouble updating my web site at the moment, so I will just attach the pictures I took today to the post. Thank you to Buck for the wonderfully finished spa treatment!

9 year update? That's awesome. Did Buck definitively identify the type of wood for ya?

Hi Brh -

They didn't have to, it is pretty obvious, particularly when compared to ebony examples, check the original posts back from 2009. Thanks for the reply!

Got ya. I'm not to good at identifying wood types on handles. You could have a pine tree glued to your knife and tell me it was redwood and I would have to believe you.:D:D anyway when a wood is brought up that I'm not familiar with I like to ask. Extremely nice knife, looks great after the spa.

I missed one a few years ago that Chuck signed on the bolster in 1973..It ended up in the Buck museum because of the early sig on the bolster. If I remember correctly it was $150.00 plus and I wish I had gotten it..

Great picture, Haebbie!

I didn't realize you were a 112 collector.

I looks like a refinished and possibly re-scaled early ranger - but a great knife to have and nice pictures to boot!

I love the texture in the wood -
