That green one has a much higher grind line at the choil than any of the others. Did somebody fix that? Or is that factory?

Could it be the color of the blade and the angle of the light? It doesn't look like it was sharpened down...

bucklife301. Did you replace the handle scales? I’m wondering if somebody reground the blade while they were off. Or if it came from the factory that way. It’s not from regular sharpening.

Somebody replaced the handle I bought it like that I bought it cheap at a pawn shop they done a good job on it

They sure did. Either they fixed the grind when the handle was replaced. Or Buck got that one right at the factory. Either way you have a nice knife.

It came from the custom shop too. Then ended up in a pawn shop with a better grind and an apparent handle replacement? That knife has a story to tell. I bet it was an employee knife.

You got lucky when you found that one.

Another nice one pjsjr! Welcome to the club!

Brhowser. I see were it got ground with the handle, but look at the arch of the grind line. On most of them it connects to the edge at the front of the choil. On the green one it goes to the top of the choil.

But the green handle has a different shape so maybe it’s an illusion.

I don’t know if you’ve seen this thread?

Not sure where to post this, so resurrecting this old thread. I pulled these out to add lanyards and decided to snap some pictures first. I received the 113 Ebony Crlicam yesterday. The top one is an Elk CKS 113. The scalloped Honduran Rosewood 113 is the Aug22 BOTM. (And the bottom one is the 2022 BCCI Elk 152.)

As for lanyards, I am thinking leather for all except the ebony one. That one might be paracord of some sort. Suggestions on lanyards are always welcome.

With the new 152 comparison to the 113 is a natural. The high radius grind drop point of the 2013 Boone and Crockett LE 112 is my absolute favorite 112 blade profile. And I hope Buck will bring it back. If I remember correctly a few Damascus 110 blades were done with a high radius drop point grind too. But the Gen 5 has has the neatest looking small blade in my eyes.

I honestly always forget I have one of these. My wife bought it for me for either a birthday or Christmas, I don’t remember.

I don’t think I’ve ever cut anything with it. I might have to get it out and take some photos later.

Very cool.

I really think the 113 and Gen5 were my favorites.
And now the 152.
What's not to like?😊

I look forward to seeing some lanyards on those.👍
