117 CLUB Permanent thread keep adding

We all feel the same frustration, but this is not the thread or the forum for voicing it. So let’s not go down that rabbit hole here. Thanks

I want to post a picture so bad. Same can and glass just kitchen counter top.
I just Paid for my Gold membership again and believe in supporting this great forum but no picture privilege’s sux. Sorry moderator but i don’t see anywhere else to voice my frustration? The one thread is small and closed?
What's your reason for not joining a photo hosting site if you want to post photos and can't through your membership?

An option i was hoping to avoid. I will look into it and i apologies for taking up time on this thread.
Thank you all for your patience with me.
Anyone wants to PM me with a good suggestion i would appreciate it. Thanks.

Greetings, all.
I mentioned in another thread that I'm putting my trusty 110 Hunter Sport work knife on the bench until we get some rain. The pivot is constantly full of sand and grit. So I figured a fixed blade was in order. And what better knife than a 117? The blade size and shape are very similar.

(Old faithful with new faithful)
So I bought a brand new 117, strictly for rough at-work use. (I work in landscaping)

The one downside I found was the factory sheath. Cumbersome to get at your knife, and it rattles around a lot in there. So, a new leather slip sheath (designed for a 105) was in order.

She fits in there, well....like a glove. 😄

I also have a question for the group:
Has Buck ever made a cherrywood 117 with aluminum hardware?

Yes. 0117CWSSH in 2017. SH stands for Shepherd Hills, so that would have been a Copper and Clad exclusive.
