119 Cocobolo

Recieved a 119 Cocobolo as my 10 year anniversary gift from work. It is a beautiful knife but I am wondering what woob the handle is realy made from. I use cocobolo regularly and this is not it.
 
Thanks for the welcome. Do you know why they wouldn't use cocobolo? It is not hard to get and is not at all that expensive. It also looks alot better than what they have used. Just curious.
