I have a 119 that I bought at a gun show. I'd like to know what the logo is on the blade...if I had a camera you'd get a picture. The logo is a dark grey, 3/4 inch triangle etched into the blade, left side. It has what looks like a lightning bolt coming in from the left side of the triangle. The bolt is the blade metal left from the etching. The box has a date of 1/26/04, Special Cocobola B119-BR-0 cat. 2638. This is not indicating a special project, but could be a different box then it came in originally. Just curious, thanks for any help.

Preston.

Buck was using this logo for a while:

Could it be some simplified version of that?

Carl, thanks...sure doesn't resemble that(except that it's a triangle). Let me play around with "paint"... maybe I can get close and post a more accurate image.

I have the image in drawn in "paint" but I can't figure out how to get it on a post. Carl how'd you post that Buck logo?

You need to host it on a remote site then link to it with the
tags...

Lemme see if I can link something...

I just found it on some website, then used the image tags as chickentrax said. I only just figured out how to do even that. :)

Chickentrax, thanks. No I don't have a scanner...I'm really new to technology. I have a reasonable likeness drawn on a paint program, so just have to figure how to host it somewhere then try to do like Carl said. I'm snowed in so I'll work on this.

Thanks again Carl.

OK, I have the image hosted at imageshack...now how do I get it from there to here? I'm not able to post attachments according to the info at the bottom of this page.

Put an
at the end of it... :)

You're linking to your image, not attaching... ;)

Also, there is a button for it on the tool bar when you type the message. It's the yellow square with the mountains in it.

Of course, you could just paste the URL into the message, but now that I discovered the "insert" thing it's a lot handier for people to view.

Thanks Chickentrax and Carl...here goes

I tried to edit this to get it to work for a larger image but I feel that I have reached the apex of my technological skills. P

Thanks again for all your help Chickentrax and Carl. Maybe I'll be able to return it sometime in the near furture.

Carl that's the logo for sure...where's the main area of operation of Southern Company...I'm in Colorado, SE of Denver a bit. Never mind I'll google it...with all the techno skills I have now...piece of cake. :D

Southern Company supplies energy to a 120,000-square-mile service territory spanning most of Georgia and Alabama, southeastern Mississippi, and the panhandle region of Florida...

Southern Company owns five regulated retail electric utilities,
Alabama Power
Georgia Power
Gulf Power
Mississippi Power
Savannah Electric

Chickentrax, thanks I googled it. Interestingly, they're headquartered in Atlanta which seems fitting with the Blade Show so big there. Also, post your info on the taking apart and putting back together of that 110. P

...???...Which one???... :D

I have several projects underway at the moment, two involving 110's...One is sort of being documented on another Forum, but I don't recall mentioning anything here...Did I???...

Chickentrax, I suffer from CRS(Can't Remember S---) so I'm not sure where. I do recall seeing an older 110 all taken apart and thought that it was in or around your post on those two that you scored on e-bay, might have been in my dreams!!!. I looked through some other posts on other BF topics but couldn't find it...anyway I'd be interested in the process and the outcome.
