So you're who I caught it from!!! :D

I do recall seeing an older 110 all taken apart and thought that it was in or around your post on those two that you scored on e-bay...
Preston

Yep, that was me - I posted the URL but didn't link it...

I don't want to hijack this thread...and this project is not going as well as I'd like...I was a machinist once (maybe twice!) and machining something and ending up with an attractive finish is pretty much alien to me...Function was the keyword; not beauty...(although I have always believed that function *is* beauty)... ;)

Chickentrax...hijack all you want this thread is done, maybe we need to move this discussion elsewhere?...how and what did you use to replace the blade and rocker pivot pins(if that's what they're called)? Maybe you'd post all the gory details? Thanks again, P.

Hey!!! Where's the pics of the 119?!?!? That's a knife with an interesting history...Whose was it??? Where'd they go??? Why'd they sell it??? (I think we can guess why)... :(

Was it a limited order to Buck??? How many pieces??? What special features??? [blade steel, scale material, bolsters, etc]...

*I'm* interested, even if no one else is...(My nephew is a Lineman Supervisor up in Niagara Falls NY)... :D ;)

(I'd like to know how to go about placing an order to Buck for a limited run of commemorative knives, too)...(Maybe one of the Factory Reps will see this and expound on the theme)... ;)

Call into Buck and ask for Bill Bates, our special projects manager. Min run is 250 I think..

Jeff
