thanks i dont know if its right or not but i call it a slabside as in the handle is two seperate pieces of stag with wood covering the tang on the sides
it sure fits the hand nice but of course it will never be used:rolleyes:

there has been some from Buck Customs like that years ago,can you see any initials stamped in the guard area.... usually underneath
 
it has the anvil (2002) tang stamp and is marked 175/250 signed by chuck 02'
and has 1936- etched on the blade so i am not sure what it is commemorating
 
I actually like the way the color of the leather blends in with the handle and the brass. Perhaps use over time will make the "blend" - better!
 
Very nice BM10,

I have a few stag 192's that also have a wood insert between the 2 slabs of stag. I like the handles to fill my hand. Can you post a full pic of your 119?

naw its just a reflection maybe some fingerprints too, and my picture skills arent as good as you guys and i tried the scanner but thats even worse

I know what your talkin about there BM. I can't take a good pic so I don't even try.......any more :o . The scanner works ok.....except for high polished blades and gold etched blades.
