When were these sheaths made? Not the maroon one...the hefty.

Where can I get more?
Since this pic was taken, I had to drill small holes for the leather lace to go through the face of the sheath. Thinking the lace was cut inside the sheath during insertion/extraction. The lace is needed to keep the external portion of the sheath from flopping around.

Were some made for other models? (this one is stamped 119 on the back)

I checked and we first started offering a custom shadow sheath, and a custom standard sheath in 1982. They did not stick around for very long. Yours is the Custom Shadow Sheath. We made them for just about every knife in the line at the time. I do see them for sale on lnline auction sites.
Hope this helps.

Give me your milk money or another one of those shadow sheaths ;)

I really like it and will keep an eye out. For some reason I thought it was from the 80's. Now I know I didn't lie when I was asked at a gig the other day.

Thanks Joe :)

So, what are the numbers on your red cap? 81? 8I? I don't have a comment about the great sheath, other than it's a beaut!

I managed to grab a black one like your tan one Goose. But has a 118 in it instead of a 119.

Got mine off ebay...naturally

Thanks for the kind words regarding the sheath.
It's an Eight and a One on the sombrero.

I really like it also! Looks like its alot nicer for carry, rides a little lower...
I may have to look into one also!

Maybe one like you have for the nighthawk would be easier to come by?
It's a lot more comfortable to reach Jim.
The other sheath that had my Nighthawk in it:
