I feel like a loser, what with my lack of having a 119 or 120. I do have a 102, though. Will it count if I look at it through a magnifier?
Post it as your stand in until you get the 119.

NO! Without standards this thread is NOTHING! We must hold the line and remain pure to Buck's 119/120. Otherwise, where will it end?
I just let a "one line" Buck 1967-72, 119 SPECIAL unused/uncarried Like new get bid away from me at $306 tonight....Which of you snagged it away from me?

You have a very valid point. I just hate to say no to a Buck Brother.
Very nice "three liner's" !!!!
Damn...now THAT is some serious 119 collecting!!!! You are my kind of collector (its all in the variations/detail) and I am duly impressed. Did you find them all in that condition or do you send them back to Buck for Spa treatment after you find them?A group photo of 119's from 1961-86. I know of at least one missing from the group. If there's more please let me know.

My goal is to have each model of the 100 series in every variation I know of.Damn...now THAT is some serious 119 collecting!!!! Do the blades come back with not only factory edge but factory finish? My goal is to have each model of the 100 series in every variation I know of.
I have sent knives for SPA but of this group the only one is the two line with HF spacers. All others are as found.
Is there an "after" picture of this knife? It looks like it has potential to be a daily user.Saddest one I have a picture of, Buck 119 kicked up off the bottom of guides duck boat near Stuttgart Arkansas about a decade back. OH

As for edge, there’s the option to specify new style edge grind or old style. I always specify old style edge.Do the blades come back with not only factory edge but factory finish?
Yes I would like to see those...I just bought a number of new 119's in various configurations and lost a unused two line 119. I probably should have pressed the bidding more. I ma going to be looking for one and two line 119's and 120's and and may not find new unused so a excellent used condition knife going to a spa treatment might be a good option. I have a matched pair three line 119/120 already. I am the original owner of the 119 from back in 1979.As for edge, there’s the option to specify new style edge grind or old style. I always specify old style edge.
I also generally specify very lite blade polish. I’m not concerned if it doesn’t look factory new, I just want the really bad spots mostly taken out.
I believe I have before and after pictures I’ll try to find
I have sent probably a dozen knives for the Spa treatment in various conditions from highly polished blades to very bad scratched blades.Do the blades come back with not only factory edge but factory finish?
