anybody ever seen something like this? my buddy took this with his bow. I don't know whats wrong with it, but it looks like whats his face at the end of total recall...

Nice shotgun rlarge. Yes he does his own porting - we have few talented gunsmiths north of the border but a lot of hacks too.

Most porting is done on angles, to divert gasses outward while still pressing the round forward, so more than just holes. Like cross drilling rotors. The right pattern diverts heat, the wrong one, just makes them weak.
