your not supposed to flip those things open?
WTF is that? Voids the warranty?
Are they afraid flipping it will misalign
a 400+ dollar knife? Doesnt make sense to me.
I realize the sebenza is probably the better slicer between
than and a Strider,but the strider seems much "tougher".
So,now I am looking hard at the Strider SNG.

I see it is bigger than what I normally carry sooo,
I see a few pics and it looks like its the same size
as a Spyderco Military.

Before I spend the money on the sng,
I am thinking I should get a Mili and see if I can
carry it well for a while first.

Re: the SMF: Fug it's a legal disclaimer because most do not heve thumbs long enough to flip it without slicing :D Try one, you'll understand

If you have XL hand go for the SMF otherwise go for something else. The SMF is a heavy duty folder. I like the Para, but the SMF is a tank comparibly
 
I got Beanies and a helluva prybar!!!

A day after the WORSE physical I ever had.......this woman loved her job! the damn nurses cold tap a vein.....4 damn sticks......it didn't help she looked like the crypt keeper!

I am looking at the smaller SNG one.
I think its a 4inch blade or something.
definitely smaller than the SMF.

I looked for a SNG CC but decided to go with the SMF CC

Would still like to compare the two - I would think the SNG is a tank too based on what I have seen in the SMF

If your single go with the SMF in your pocket - It has much more curb appeal LOL
 
I'm going Sebenza soon. I held Tony G's small Classic with the micarta inlays, and I was sold. I like the integral frame lock on the Sebbie over the liner lock on the Military. And IMO the fit and finish on a Sebenza are heads above what you're liable to get with the Strider.

I've owned one Sebenza and it was top notch. I sold it because it was all-metal, which I've never really liked in any make. The micarta inlays on the Sebenzas are pretty nice though.
 
I hope he remembers to remove it
from his pocket if he ever has to retest
the 2 mile run.
Something like that could slow him weigh down.
