Are you still up all night on your weekends off?
I only work second shift but come home wide awake. If I am sleeping at 4am it's a miracle. Days off too.:grumpy:

I dig that spartan model.....I want to try one, but dropping 500 on a knife I nver held before......jeez who the hell does that?!:foot:

I've got a severtech. It's built like a tank. It's actually built a lot stronger than some of my framelocks. And the spring in that thing. Well lets just say you better have a good grip on it when you hit the button because otherwise it will fly out of your hand.

The Fella that makes Severtech's name is AAron, lives in Tucson AZ.

I met him in 2000 while I was Selling Busse knives in the Western U.S..

He told me that He decided to make these Autos after He got his first Busse and found out that Jerry did not make a folder.

I traded him a Satin Jack for a Green Standard, now I live in Oregon where it is Legal to EDC it.

I like the look of the Spartan well enough, And, I tend to dislike Tanto points, but I think the Standard knife has greater utility, you can use the short straight edge like a Razor to scrape glass for instance.

My EDC the last 27 months.

A Brute of an auto.

I carry it for two reasons mainly.

First of all, Because I can within the law.

Second, the knife is Big enough and loud enough when it fires that it turns Heads and promotes Drama nearly every time I use it in Public.

I have met and like the Maker, the blade is a thick sharp slab of A-2.

I am not kind to knives, and this one is holding up very nicely.

I Highly recommend one if you have the means, but it is better if you also happen to be able to do it openly and within the law.

papathud, I just had a look at the website. The Standard does seem to be more knife for the money. That Spartan is nice, but at twice the price and with no option for a plain blade, I just don't know.
