I'd like to sell my fishing boat. It is a 12' Valco aluminum boat from the 70's with an 18hp Evinrude. This is a great little boat with a nice motor. Trailer is perfect for a real angler as it is hinged so if you need to launch from a bank (no ramp where you're at) you can pull a pin and it'll hinge in the middle letting you get the boat off easier. About 1-1.5 years ago I:
-replaced the wood benches with new marine grade plywood, riveted (the blue paint I used on the wood has flaked in spots from the weather as it's kept outside, but the wood is great)
-zolatone paint on the inside (one spot where it didn't adhere but overall great)
-18hp Evinrude engine gone through, new pump, impeller etc., even replaced the rubber piece around the rope that fits into the housing
-repainted the entire trailer, new tires and tubes, rewired it replacing 4 of the 6 lights, new rubber bumper
It comes with an oar, anchor, two nice fishing rod holders, padded marine vinyl cushions a buddy found for me (way better than sitting on the hard benches), a couple adult life vests, hold downs for the boat and a brace for the engine so it can be left on the boat while towed. It's tagged and ready to go, takes a 1 7/8" ball (I'm in Fresno, CA by the way). 1200.00 obo. I do need cash but things I'd be interested in partial trade/cash arrangement would include ammo in 9mm, 45acp, 223 (xm193 or 855) esee 5, 6, junglas. Thanks everybody for looking.
