12 bar Turkish twist chef

That's a one fine knife Bill and I see 12 bars ya I was there when you welded it all together I know for a fact it was 12 bars and I do not think there are very many folks that could take 12 5" x 3/8 x3/8 bars and forge them down too a knife as close to shape as I watched you do to this one. I see when you ground it you had to take a bit off the heel to make it work but the steel still shows how you forged up the bars into the handle, and the tip shows how you forged the bars together. when I look at a damascus knife I want it to tell me something this one tells a beautiful story of a man with a hammer a vision of a knife.
