Hello everybody!
I've been working on and off on this one for more than a year. The more I worked on it, the more I hated it. Recently I finished it and I was debating to myself whether I should post it or not. I decided to post it as a one time offer in case it find a home, if not, I guess another bites the dust.
Steel: O1 tool steel.
Handle: Steel bolster and pommel, bubinga wood and leather stacked.
Dimensions:
Overall lenght: 42 cm - 16.53''
Blade lenght: 30 cm - 12''
Blade widght: 4.2 cm - 1.65''
Blade thickness: 6 mm - 0.236'' (with a slight distal taper)
Handle lenght: 12 cm - 4.72''
It has been blue backed on the spine. The pommel and the face of the bolster are pinned, the tang is pinned over as well. It has a beautiful hand sanded finish to 800grit. The edge was ground quite thin, I wouldn't recommend it as a chopper.
It does not come with a sheath, hence the price. If a sheath is an absolute must, it come be made with an extra cost of 30$.
