Keith I just look at the crosses as a symbol for the Four Directions.
I for one wouldn't mind changing the crosses into swastikas, but if we start changing the kami's marks then there's no use in them stamping them at all.

My wife is german and really objected to the swastka on anything in the house and this one was not one of the reversed swastikas.....that design is often seen in native american designs as the symbol for the four winds...or the whirlwind...

I though Raju did them both ways. I can understand a German having trouble with a Swastika in the house. I'm Jewish (well by birth) and having a Nazi made dagger is unnerving sometimes.
