Did I miss out the villagers with my being away ??

Hope not - I was really looking forward to getting one of those little guys, would come in real handy !!

:(

I wouldn't worry about it. With ALL of these that we ALL bought, I'm sure somebody will probably sell one-------someday...

:D

Used mine for some brush clearing day before yesterday, sweet, capable, little khuks, take to hard work like ducks take to water.

Brendan, check with Uncle Bill when he gets back from Kansas. Never know what the dust bunnies might be hiding.

Brendan,

You're not alone. I missed the boat on the pre-pay thing, and when I asked UB about it, I got the impression he'd rather I wait until some were in stock. That was the last I've seen, so I'm hoping he'll post more and I'll catch them then. Bottom line is: don't snooze. :)

I thought there was a post saying that Bill was never going to import or sell villagers again. Something about the same work for less margin and besides, all the folks who wanted one, stayed around and got one. Those who were off galivanting, apparently didn't care enough.

:) I'm teasing, Brendan. However I get the impression that Bill's direction to the kamis has the same effect as pushing a string.

Was going to be my first khuk in 8 months and it was going to be a perfect user for UK knife regulations - no-one will really see it while I am in the garden. Less conspicuos than a 21 GS !

DRATT

:(

I wouldn't give up on the small khuk. Like Uncle Bill says, The kami's a lot of the time make what they want to make so you may see more of these little workers coming in in almost any order that Uncle Bill gets.:)

If you're lucky maybe you'll get one of the matte horn ones like in the 12" ak villager pics thread. I'm jealous of that one. :) though wood on mine is starting to look nice, only had 3 coats I think though of truoil, will be a a while before I'm done.

such a tease

I think there is aplot making sure I didn't get one.

Uncle said I should wait to pay and now I missed out cos I was in SA, I'm sure there is one or two of you who will give one up !!!

pleeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzeeee

:)

Brendan, your plea has touched my heart. When I put a full convex grind on my 12" villager, I promise to pick all of the 'shavings' up with a cow magnet and send them to you. No, no, don't thank me.
