I've been on here for a while and have enjoyed the forum especially the sharing of knowledge. I figured I've been at it long enough to understand critiques and appreciate feedback. So here are a sampling of knives I have made over the course of the last 12 months most recent at the bottom. I'd appreciate your feedback and suggestions to help me become a better knife maker. (yep, I'm nervous :) )

It is difficult to give accurate feedback on knives from photographs. You would be much better off to put a few of your best knives in the hands of a superior maker and ask for an honest assessment. Mabey take them to a Hammer-In or other knifemaker event in your area. Personally, when I give feedback on a knife, I like to understand what the maker is doing now so I can offer pointers on how to fix the issues I see. That kind of dialogue is best in a person to person conversation.

Of course, it's better to assess them in person- but I can tell that you had a natural ability of knifemaking, and your grinding has improved quite a bit.

My suggestion would be the same as Bob's. If you really want to know where you stand, you need to get your knife/knives into the hands of a recognized master maker.

The first year I began making knives, by chance one of my knives ended up in the hands of John Doyle. He contacted me and gave a fair and honest critique. It helped me tremendously, and I'm still thankful to this day that it worked out that way.

pretty good progress for a 12 month run
the top most ones looks like the pins aren't always lined up or in proportion to the handle, the ones where you have 3 pins.
could be the angle of the pics but that's what sticks out to me as could be improved
otherwise nice looking work

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll try to find a talented/established knife make and have him critique a few of my blades.
