Here is a 12 inch Sirupati made by Sher. He did not mark it but nobody but Sher would make a khukuri such as this. It is a half inch thick and weighs one pound. Here is one little Sirupati that you can use for a prybar.

He got a very good do on this one -- fit, finish, hardness all just fine. Karda and chakma pretty good. Sarkis were 100% sober and rate a 10 out of 10 on scabbard and HI superfrog.

What's wrong with this knife? Not very much. A hairline crack in the handle that superglue will fix and a couple of grainlines that may or may not develop.

You get $25 off for no kami mark and $10 off for the superglue treatment. $40 and the rig is yours delivered to your door and this is one 12 inch Sirupati you can use for a prybar and it will certainly not bend or break.

Call or email if interested.

Thanks, Uncle Bill. With all the talk about it of late (mostly by me), it just seemed right.

Plus, now I'll have one from each of the brothers, Sher and Kumar, and I've wanted to accomplish that as well. (Yin and Yang)

I'm sure that this khukuri will be a joy, and on the off chance it isn't exactly right for me we'll find it a new home and I'll opt for a lighter one. Problem solved.

Now, maybe I'll come to understand the secrets that Rusty and his meds have been whispering about.

I dunno, Jim. You'd better take your time and decide which ONE khukuri you need most.

You know, there's really no need for more than one!!!

I must say that I started out thinking , all I need is a khukri .Then I bought a sirupati , not a tradional khukri so I needed anouther. I ordered a WWII , and was amazed . I then thought , I think I can come up with a desighn everyone will want so I made a wooden model and sent it to Uncle Bill
(he should get it today , hopefully post pics, and send to Nepal for production !?!?).
Now I have to say I am fully addicted to these wonderful works of art/ultimate utility big blades . You will be to when you get your hands on ONE !
