Remember the time I got Hanuman and noticed he was wrapped up in the articles on the upcoming swinger's convertion at the Reno Hilton, already up to his monkeyshines?

Some of the khuks just know who's right for them.

Jim, you think I'm kidding but I'm not. Some time back I stashed this great Gelbu Special made by Kumar here in the computer shack where Yangdu and Vikash couldn't grab it and ship it. I thought I would either keep this knife for myself or save it for a special event and now that event is upon us.

There were a couple of reasons I set the knife aside. 1) It was very well done and I like the design of the Gelbu Special. 2) It was made by Kumar who likes lighter blades and this khukuri weighs only 1.5 pounds which is pretty light for an 18 inch khukuri. 3) The handle is made of saatisal, the Nepali oak which is quite strong, very pretty and I don't think it is going to crack on us. 4) Karda(even this one is fullered!) and chakma are exceptional and very good size -- 7+ inches. 5) The sarkis were sober when they made the scabbard and frog and good a good do on both.

I am sending the khukuri today or tomorrow via priority mail. Be watching.

Blessings from the computer shack in Reno.

Lucky Jim ... it is a beautiful lighter version of GS!

BTW; I check the world map and I found out that Florida time has a difference of exactly 12 hours from Malaysian time - meaning our 3:00pm is your 3:00am ... and our 3:00am is your 3:00pm! I make this posting at about 9:15pm 6/21/2000; so Jim ... it is about 9:15am 6/21/2000 at Florida!!! I am going to take my dinner ... while you are having your breakfast!

Pakcik Bill.

From experience ... you start posting your offer threads at about 3:00am Malaysian time! What a pity ... I can't find PC in my dream! LOL!

NEPAL HO!
