Hi All
Been awhile since I've been on. I'm not a collector, but I have found the forum to be a valuable resource whenever I needed advice on my 119 and 120's. A big hello and hat's off to Joe Houser who guided me through a tricky 120 repair quite some time ago.
Anyway, I came across a bunch of 120 Generals (regular and Cocobola/Brass), and I thought of you folks. I picked up a couple of Cocobola's for myself, one for display, and one to use for moose hunting.

Anyway, here is the link: http://buyknivesonline.com//index.aspx?tabindex=4&tabid=6

If I'm stepping on anyone's toes, or if it is now inappropriate for me to post this, then I give my apologies and please feel free to delete the post.
I'm not affiliated with these folks in any way, and I'm not sure where these people got all the 120's from, but they're all over E-Bay too.

Take care, and I'll try and drop in more often.

Hi again, folks.
Silly me, here I thought that I had a hot scoop here, but I had some time today to look around the forum some more, and I can see now that this particular link has been mentioned a few times, and also saw the stuff about the Cabela's Pro-Line. I should have known that all the die hard Buck folks would be up on this.
Either way, I'm happy with my purchase as I've always wanted the Cocobola version to go along with the phenolic handled 120 I've had for years, and the price was in line with what I am willing to pay for a new knife. I'm not looking at collector value, so as far as I'm concerned I'd be really happy to see Buck bring the 120 back. Might cool off some of the insane E-Bay prices on these, and also expose a wider audience to what I beleive to be one of the finest ( OK, the finest) knife in the world, at least for the big game hunting I use it for.
It was good to be back and have a chance to look around again.

Take care

$65 for a 120 General sounds pretty good to me... :D

Just as long as I don't have to use it as a hammer... ;)

Seems like these bad boys were out of fashion in years past. However, there is a resurgence in progress now. I still have mine from 36 years ago. Now if I can just find a use for all those wide ties in my closet.

My shipment of 3 Cocobola/Brass handled 120 General's arrived today from buyknivesonline. Absolutely beeeyooootifulll........:D

Takes my breath away every time I open one of the boxes. Plan is to keep one for the collection, one for use (along with my black phenolic 120 and 119) and one as a gift for my Brother.

When I came across these, I thought they must have been old stock that somebody had hoarded, but these all have the "Idaho" 2005 date stamp and are all marked USA as well.
Box is marked "Limited Edition" in silver lettering on the bottom right hand corner of the box.

So I guess the stories of special production runs of these are true?
