This knife features a full distal taper, which means there is thickness at the back for heavy work and thinness at the front for precise work. The faceted WA handle provides a great grip. The Bolster has two toned redwood, each side has a different color.

The pattern on the blade is 120 layers of random pattern Damascus. The hand forging of this blade helped develop the pattern in to something more chaotic.

This is an amazing knife. I think this will make someone extremely happy. The Kiritsuke is a highly regarded knife.
