There is an article out there on 1400 rifles and 1200 swords found buried at a Japanese school in Tokyo, of course in bad shape after all these years. Google "1400 rifles 1200 swords found in Japanese school. John

    Nope.
As the country was under new administration, Japanese traditional swords were ordered dumped in the sea en masse as per the orders of Dugout Doug.
    A crying shame.
