121 and sheath

Good grief.....I read the post about this "rudder" sheath without looking at the pics first and I was visualizing a sheath that stuck out behind yer rear end like a rudder.

That's an odd idea, I thought.......I suppose it wouldn't catch on any brush that way, though.

Well.....now I understand.

:D

Well I like that sheath so much that I asked Jack to make one just like it for my Build Out 119 in ATS34. Its got the charcoal Dymondwood but I'm hoping to engage a real knifemaker to replace that with some Ironwood.

One of Jack's sheaths, Ironwood handles on a ATS-34 119...that might be something special. :)

Hawk,

Didn't see a single 121 at the big Tulsa Gun Show, well thats not true, one guy had a complete old Buck counter display with all matching (121 in center) era knives and even the ID buttons. But I didn't want to go to the bank for the loan required.....did see a 118 with NO stamping on the tang. I walked away.......??/

Hawkeye showed me that sheath and it is awesome. Not worthy of that junker 121 I gave Hawkeye. So,,,I think he should just send me the sheath for one of these minty red spacer 121's I have horded. :D:D:D:D

Really nice job Jack! :thumbup::thumbup:

Flatlander, You gonna love that sheath.:thumbup:

Craig.I like that Tulsa show.Lots of Knives and guns.

Hawk,
You need to plan a ride up here in April to go to it, it really would be best on old knees to buddy up and start on opposite ends and phone each other on finds as you go. I watch for 121s now. Guns are apparently valuable by prices. Some knives also. Left several $20 301s and a 307 Made in USA I got down to $20 and decided I didn't need it.
Talked to a guy in the parking lot that drove from Minn. to buy old German machinegun parts that Russia was exporting to US. He said he was going to try and make it home before morning....that was at 1430.....tougher than me.....300

300, I attended the El Paso, TX. Gun and Knife Show this weekend and like you left some good Bucks on tables. A 3 line 110, a 2 dot 112 & 110, a 3 dot 110 & 112, a 4 dot 110, a 3 line 119 (1980) and a old English script 501 . I did pick up a 812^ for a buck buddy than wanted it . It was a decent show . DM
