122 filet knife

Thats a question I dont know, well I don't know the answer to alot of questions, but i'm pretty sharp at Buck stuff. Someone will have to ask JOE
 
No, the 4 dots noted the change to 425M (as early as 1981)other models with one dot, ect.. Yet, we knew those with the year codes were of 425M. However, Buck did use different steels on some of their filleting knives. My guess here on this model its 425M. Remember the early 426 Bucklites had no dots but were of 425M based on mfg. date. We discussed this before. DM
