Yeah, it's weird. I looked after seeing your reply, it showed out of stock, then I checked Friday and it was back in stock, so I placed my order... have been waiting months to be able do that. Just checked again today out of curiosity... still in stock.

Mine arrived today, and it's looking great ! It took two days for Buck to ship it. So yours should be arrive soon, I guess.

Thanks, yours is 2020, i was just curious if Buck had started shipping 124’s with 2021 date code.

You would think half way into 2021 they would be. I buy at least 1 Buck 110 at walmart every year and wait till june so they get all the previous year 110’s out of the system.

well a 9 month lag in posts in this thread but a question. is the 0124BKSLE-B considered a limited run of the 124? on a popular auction site this part number is listed as limited, but it's under regular production knives on Buck's website.

Are you talking about the one with 2012 date code? I believe that was the year the 124 was reintroduced as part of the Legacy series which is typically limited to lower number produced.

not sure bud. the current sku/model 0124BkSLE-B is listed currently on Buck's site but on a massive auction site it's listed as "limited" which could just be seller ignorance? I think the Black Micarta version is the only current production 124?

the 0124bksle-b is the current production model and has been for a few years--- it may have been a limited number run in 2012--looking at the box it came in that year in that listing--i know after that it came in standard black and yellow box...
