124 paring knife :(

I think it would say " hey man, you got a bucket of oysters that need shuckin' ?"

I'm probably not going to talk about my oysters sit. Most likely not. However, CA Dave, I do feel like my uhoh has been shortened when I look at that abbreviated 124! Uncomfortable and anxious.

I can't believe that that one closed without even one bid, being as it's a Super Rare Custom:p

Looking at this from a positive, if whomever did this because they broke it, at least they had the self esteem to not send it back to buck...or possibly it was "sporterized" by someone to be put to whatever use they had...
It's still a pretty good size piece of 440C steel, and judging by the condition of the blade, they knew how to properly sharpen a knife ( not a lot of excess scratches)
It might make a pretty cool user knife with a nicely re profiled clip on it...

I saw that one while fishing. Looks like someone fixed a broken blade to me. It's way short for a 124.

I'm just glad someone didn't buy it and then send it in to Buck to try to get a warranty replacement! lol

Don't think that would be covered under warranty, That looks more like abuse, as apposed to factory defect. There are limits...

Don't think a Spa job could fix that...

It would be fun to send it to them, though.

:D

Looks like it was a Good Will sale......somebody probably walked into the store and bought it and they cancelled the auction.

Bet it sold for about 20 bucks. I'd have bought it for that. Love boot knives.

Dang thing is live again. It was beyond my imagination that someone could love this ugly duckling, but then, I'm married, so lightning can strike anywhere.

Maybe they thought their original auction description was too loaded with false hopes.

:)

Up to a fairly good price already. I'm out.

OK. Okay. So, the knife cannot talk. I am past that now. Thank you.

However, what if this toad had hands? Right now they would be rubbing each other vigorously because some folks appear to have some amount of love for it. Beyond my imagination. Out there.

The phoenix. Americans love the "come from behind" sandlot sluggers. Perhaps it is being targeted by mangles...
